Sausage in a Blanket
A sharable breakfast application that is perfect for all-day breakfast!
- 1 package CHEF'S CRAFT® chicken breakfast sausage
- 1 package Pillsbury French Bread dough
- 1 egg - beaten
- Poppy seeds to taste
- Coarse salt to taste
- Fresh herbs to taste
- Mustard to taste
Roll bread dough on floured surface until thin. Approximately, 6 inches wide by 12 inches. Cut into triangles and brush each with egg wash.
Turn triangle over and place a sausage on the wide end, roll the dough around the sausage and place seam side down on parchment lined baking sheet.
Top all sausages with desired toppings and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes (turning pan a half turn once) or until brown.
Serve with mustard
